1 lb. diced or shredded cooked chicken
1/2 of an onion, chopped (can be cooked with chicken)
1 14.5 oz. can chicken broth
1 10.5 oz. can cream of chicken soup
1 cup water
1 4 oz. can chopped green chilies, drained
1 11 oz. can mexi corn
2 15 oz. cans great northern beans, drained and rinsed
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. pepper
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup cream
Mix all ingredients, except sour cream and cream, in a large pan.
Simmer for 20 minutes to several hours.
Before serving stir in 1 cup sour cream and 1/2 cup cream.
This recipe always places in neighborhood chili cook-offs, hence the award-winning title.
